Companies who sponsor H-1B Work Visa for USA in Pakistan

One of the most frequently asked question I encounter is, which companies (local or foreign) are sponsoring H-1B Visa’s in Pakistan? I’m listing down a number of IT & IT Enabled Services (ITES) companies who are known to have sponsored candidates from Pakistan in past 5 years or more. And, I personally know and have met the candidates from these companies (except one).

Besides the ones mentioned above, there are other ITES companies that have presence in Pakistan and are on the record to have sponsor H-1B visas. However, it might be possible that the actual candidates are sponsored from other countries (where they also have presence besides USA and Pakistan). I’m not personally, or through my contacts, aware of any sponsorship cases by these companies:

  1. Thanks a lot Humayun.
Is it possible to have name and contact details of H1B Sponsoring consultants in United States who usually hire on percentage basis. Like I heard that there are companies in US who sponsor H1B Visa as an employer but actually they are working as a Recruitment consultant for other companies and they deduct a percentage based on your monthly salary other than taxes.
Are you aware of them? Please advise.

  3. Too many ads on your site.
Please cut some down, especially the pop-up ads.

  4. Primatics Financial doesn't sponsor for USA visa for new candidates. You have to spend at minimum one year before they will consider. Of course this also depends on your track record, if you are worth it or not.

  7. Very helpful, well i do have some questions. Do these companies sponsor greed card? Do they ask to sign contract/bond to not to leave job before defined period? Is it safe to change job after getting H1b visa? What is the rate of people getting permanent residence after getting H1b visa from these companies?

Yes, the next step of H1B is GC, and these companies file GC after some time (some file it after 6 months, some files earlier or later than that).

No, they don't ask candidates to sign a contract/bond, but they do get verbal assurances to stay with them for a certain period of time. For example, one of the cases I know, they ask to candidate to remain with them, until after 6 months of GC approval. Roughly a GC approval would take 2 years, and the GC was to be filed after 6 months on job, so that would make 2 and a half years time.

Yes, it is safe to change the job, that is you stick with your H1B Sponsor and change the 'client' on which you are deployed. If you meant to ask leave H1B sponsor, you need to find another H1B Sponsor to actually "transfer" your H1B. This is possible as well. Might add some complication, but yes possible and people have done that.

Very few (I actually dont remember any case) get rejected. Time duration might change on case to case basis.

  9. Sir, thank you so much for the detailed and timely reply. Two more questions though :)
So the candidate (if lucky) will get GC in 2.5years time after entering USA?
And i want to know, what is better choice if one is getting job at same benefits/salary at each of these countries USA/KSA/UAE (Sometimes higher in UAE/KSA because of no/low tax rates)?

Thanks again sir, many others like me are following your blog, and you are doing wonderful job, really appreciated :)

    1. Yes
    2. There's a big difference in market size between USA and any other like UK/UAE/KSA. Lot more opportunities and a lot more potential. Though, I agree based on one's circumstances, other options are good as well.

  13. Dear Humayun,

First of all thank you very much for compiling this information & I really appreciate the effort you are putting. Just for information, Mentor Graphics Corporation does not sponsor H-1B visa to outsiders. It sponsor H1-B visa only to its employees working in Mentor Graphics Pakistan office and they need to be relocated to on of MGCs USA office. This need is driven by resource / expertise requirement, and such cases are very few (1 in say 2 years). For that you have to be a full time employee of Mentor Graphics Pakistan.

    Thanks.
